Jag vill plugga i Kapstaden nästa termin. Ansökte för några månader sedan men har ännu inte fått något svar. Så jag mailar till Mr Lebethe Malefo. När får jag besked om jag kommer in eller inte?

Thank you for applying for the Semester Study Abroad Programme at the University of Cape Town. Unfortunately, due to lack of capacity you were not admitted into the programme. You were also not accepted into any of the courses you selected.

Jag mailade dig för att du skulle berätta när jag skulle få beskedet om att jag har kommit in. Jag ville inte att du skulle ge mig beskedet att jag inte kom in. Mr Lebethe Malefo - det är dags för en förklaring.

Dear Jonas,

The reason was mainly because of capacity in the programme. We have already filled all our available spaces with students from our exchange agreements. We accept these students first and when there's space we accept individual students into that available space. This will explain why it took this long to inform you of this.

We regret the inconvenience that this causes you.
